By using Rathi ThermoQuench KL 500, you can save upto 15% of steel cost compared to any other ordinary Fe 415 rebar. This saving comes because of high strength (hence less consumption of steel), reduced wastages and reduced handling cost of Rathi ThermoQuench KL 500. Due to lighter reinforcement meshes and cages, the pouring and compaction of concrete becomes easier and resulting casts of columns, beams and slabs of your house are more sound and solid, You can also get more carpet area (living space) in your house by constructing slimmer beams, colums, slabs, etc. by using Rathi ThermoQuench KL 500. The savings in steel consumption can be increased if higher grade concrete is also used along with Rathi ThermoQuench KL 500.

The higher tensile strength of thermoQuench® rebars is 550N/mm2 enableing reduction in quantity of Steel required in Civil Projects. The rebars have exceptional dimensional tolerance and are rolled on the negative side of the Indian Standards Code, resulting in lower Steel consumption.

With their tough outer surface and soft core, thermoQuench® rebars have excellent bend ability, which makes the work at construction sites easy and safe. RATHI Steel Bars can be bent around mandrels much smaller in diameter than those specified in IS: 1786.
Easier Weldability
Due to controlled Carbon and Manganese, thermoQuench® rebars derive excellent weld ability. There is no loss of strength at weld joints. This ensures that they can be butt-welded or lap-welded without any requirement for pre or post welding treatment.
Extra Corrosion Resistance
thermoQuench® rebars are water-quenched and not cold-twisted. Hence, no torsion residual stresses are left in the bar, which results in excellent corrosion resistance properties in comparison to cold-twisted bars.
Earthquake Resistance
The unique combination of high strength and exceptional ductility with high fatigue strength results in a rebar with higher seismic resistance. Studies conducted on concrete beam column joints evaluated under repeated reverse loading validated the superior earthquake resistance properties of thermoQuench® rebars.
